At The Dining Company, we believe that everyone deserves to feel at home.
For organizations
We support organizations in strengthening the wellbeing, integration and engagement of their international employees. Through carefully curated dinners, community events and personal guidance, we help create meaningful connections that contribute to long-term retention and a thriving workplace culture.
For internationals & locals
For you we offer a welcoming community. For those who enjoy international environments, value genuine connection and want to build meaningful relationships. We also provide personal guidance to help you navigate life in the Netherlands, understand the culture and grow a supportive network.
Such a wonderful evening! The atmosphere was warm, open, and incredibly welcoming. I loved meeting both expats and locals, it made me feel more at home in the city. Julia has a naturally kind and inviting energy that sets the tone for the whole event. Everything was well organised, relaxed and effortless. I’m already looking forward to the next gathering! (Ellen)
I’ve always found it difficult to build genuine connections in this region, but this community changed that for me. The event gave me an easy and comfortable way to meet people, and I left with not only new friends but even a meaningful business contact. It’s the perfect place for anyone looking for real connection, both socially and professionally. (Marc)
As a musician new to the Netherlands, I was struggling to make the right industry connections. Julia introduced me to Tim another professional musician and the meeting was incredibly valuable. He shared concrete leads and practical next steps that gave me immediate clarity and direction. I truly appreciate the bridge Julia created. Her network and intuition make all the difference. (Kai)
Hi, my name is Julia.
I started this company based on my own experience as an international in the Netherlands. I believe everyone has the right to feel at home, but that isn’t always easy here. We often live in our own bubbles and digitalization has made us more distant from each other. This is a problem because people need each other.
We need more community, face-to-face connections that make us happier and healthier. With over 20 years of experience in mental health care, I use all my skills within my company to help both internationals and locals reconnect with one another.
